Excellent restaurant with a wide menu. I had the pork chops that were perfectly cooked. My wife had the scampi, which were large tiger prawns cooked in butter and wine. The service was outstanding, and such a beautiful location looking over the river.

We ate at the restaurant and it was a total vibe. Outdoor seating for dinner even in the winter was amazing. They have heaters and hearing the roaring rapids and the pink tree made the ambiance worth every dime. Food was good too in this one Road Town. Everything shuts down early and they were opened till 9/10. Will be back.

Came here for the first time with my husband and it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter was Taylor and he was so friendly & attentive with us! The food was perfect! We ordered the filet mignon plates, and for desert had the blueberry cheesecake- absolutely delicious. 10/10.

My fiance and I stayed at The Gateway for 3 nights while visiting Sequoia National Park- which is a less than 2 minute drive from there! We had nothing but wonderful experiences the entire time! Every meal we ate at the restaurant was excellent, our room was very nice, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming! We stayed in cabin 6, and I especially enjoyed that cabin’s private back patio. It was so nice to sit out there in the mornings with my coffee and listen to the river! We will definitely be back!

My friend and I went to the restaurant part of the place and it was delicious. The staff was so very friendly and amazing. It’s dog friendly, both indoors and outdoors. Beautiful view of the river. A little pricey but still good. The looks are deceiving from the outside, looks like a small little restaurant but is actually quite big. Kinda fancy or bouje but nice. There were some ducks down by the river too, very cute.

Morning time is amazing here. Ordered a vegetarian omelette, servers were very very nice for me to stay and do work there. As the sun came it, it made the view look so much nicer. There are ducks that are down there too. Went mid January on a Saturday morning. So if you’re looking for a more toned down time to go I recommend January! Still sunny California Food wise : food was good. Black coffee was very nice.

We had dinner and breakfast here after visiting National Parks. We did not have reservations either time but they still seated us quickly. We were tired and hungry after traveling and sightseeing. Tyler was the best! What a great host, waiter, server with humor and attentiveness. His suggestions were fantastic! We actually shared a meal for an extra 10.00 but additional soup and veggie served. Breakfast was huge and filling to start our day traveling to San Francisco. I highly recommend and the patio views are great. Rafters go in here to go down river in mornings. Stayed to watch them for awhile. ....Folks from PA
